Dan and Kristal Carey

True North

Dan and Kristal Carey built True North to provide fans  with an immersive experience, featuring passenger seating that allows fans—especially children—to connect directly with the sport. In addition to the ride truck, the Careys manage a versatile lineup of competition trucks, including Train Wreck, Hellion, and Sabotage, all known for high-energy performances and aggressive freestyle runs.

While Dan is a dedicated driver for True North, he remains a skilled competition driver. In 2025, he returned to the wheel of Hellion at several events, reminding fans and the team alike why he is known as "Big Air Dan."

The Careys manage every aspect of their operations, from mechanical preparation to building their own trucks here in Canada.
